Carmelo Anthony is considered one of the NBA's brightest
young stars.
As a freshman at Syracuse he was the catalyst to their NCAA
championship title in 2003 and was voted the tournament's MVP. His
fundamental shooting and scoring abilities resulted in him being
selected number three overall by the Denver Nuggets. In his first year
he led all rookies in scoring, averaging 21 points per game, and was a
member of the United States 2004 Olympic Basketball team. |
