Tracy
Austin became a promising young tennis star in the
late 1970s when, at the time, she was the youngest
female to win a professional tournament and the
youngest US Open Champion. Tracy was ranked #1 in
the world in 1980, a spot held by only Chris Evert
and Martina Navratilova for the previous six years.
Austin won 30 singles titles during her career,
and currently works as a commentator for the USA
Network. |
