Justine
is known for her one-handed backhand and has proven
to be one of the most mentally tough players on
the WTA Tour. Over the past five years she has consistently
been a top 10 player in the world, has won the French
Open three times, and also won the Australian Open
and the US Open once each. Representing Belgium,
Justine beat Amélie Mauresmo to win the singles
gold medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004. With
a win at Wimbledon, Justine will become the 3rd
player in tennis history to win an Olympic gold
medal in singles and all four Grand Slam events.
At a young age, Justine began working hard to develop
the fundamentals and techniques that have made her
the champion she is today. |
