8 career ATP
singles titles; 5 career doubles titles
James
Blake is currently one of the hottest players
on the ATP circuit. He has overcome a great deal
of adversity to become one of the top players in
the world. In 2004, Blake broke his neck while practicing
in Rome, and lost his father to cancer later that
year. After rejoining the circuit, ranked 210 in
the world, he made an unbelievable run to the US
Open semi-finals in 2005 where he lost to Andre
Agassi in 5 sets in what many consider to be one
of the greatest matches of all time. James won five of his eight career singles titles
in 2006.
